DESCRIPTION

An unforgettable Jeep Safari to the mysterious  regions of Unknown Crete. Our journey begins in the  coastal town of Agios Nikolaos, where we will make our first stop in the traditional village of Kritsa. Known for its picturesque alleys and traditional shops, Kritsa is one of the most famous and beloved villages of Crete. Take a walk through the narrow streets and immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the region.
 
From Kritsa, we will ascend through a beautiful route that offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. Our destination is the Katharos Plateau, located at an altitude of 1250 meters, where we will stop for a refreshing coffee break in a traditional cafe. Here, you’ll be able to take in the stunning panoramic views of the region.
 
Next, we will cross the forest of Selakano and make our way to the Sarakina Gorge. This hidden gem will surprise you with its natural beauty, towering cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. Take a hike along the gorge and marvel at the stunning views.
 
Continuing on, we will make our way to the southernmost end of eastern Crete, the village of Myrtos, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Libyan sea and enjoy the amazing beach.
 
On our return journey, we will take a very beautiful route that will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Went for Cretan Mountain tours as it seemed to have everything we wanted to do in one day. It was very authentic and this was as much a cultural tour as Cretan history lesson. We had cheese, olive oil and wine tasting along with a gorgeous Cretan lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and the guide and would highly recommend them.
